Abstract: This paper deals with the development of arduino code for SCARA (Selective compliance assembly robotic arm). It accepts GCode and converts Cartesian coordinates to polar coordinates and uses those to move arms to that coordinate. It basically modifies CNC firmware (working on Cartesian coordinates) available in github to suit for polar coordinates.
