RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION

Abstract: This paper proposes about radio frequency identification technology which has proved to be a boon to the society. In this paper we have discussed about earlier technology, construction, working, application and issues with respect to RFID. This technology uses the electromagnetic fields for its operation. RFID has various components like tags, antennas, transmitters, receivers and a reader. Today RFID is used in most of the domains for object, animal and person tracking. It uses the tags (active or passive) for identifying these objects uniquely as the tags contain special information.
