Abstract: This paper deals with feature extraction and selection algorithm for Handwritten Devanagari Vowels Recognition (HDVR). The various techniques of feature classifications for Handwritten Devanagari Vowels Recognition (HDVR) are employed for this task. The overall accuracy for support vector machine 92.11% .
