PROGRAMMING AND TESTING OF A FRIENDLY GUI-MATLAB SOFTWARE TO PREDICT THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF WATER

Abstract: Water is the most used fluid in industrial processes, such as heating, cooling, etc. This work aims the creation of a program in MatLab software with an interface in GUI to correlate and calculate the thermodynamic properties of this fluid, such as enthalpy, entropy, internal energy and specific volume, under many routines and with a great working range of pressure and temperature. This program provides good results, showing that it can be used to design equipments in industrial processes and to support the teaching disciplines of Applied Thermodynamic. Presentation is made friendly through of Graphical Unit Interfaces (GUIMatLab).
