SPEECH SIGNAL ANALYSIS FOR LINEAR FILTER BANKS OF DIFFERENT ORDERS

Abstract: In speech signal processing using of filter banks is very important. The critical requirement is the sum of all the frequency responses of the band-pass filters of the filter bank i.e. composite frequency response be flat with linear phase. This paper deals with design and implementation of linear-phase FIR digital filters based filter bank flat with flat composite frequency response. The design is based on special properties of FIR filters by which excellent frequency response can be achieved.
