OPTIMIZATION OF MAIN BOILER PARAMETERS USING SOFT COMPUTING TECHNIQUES

Abstract: In most of the large scale industrial applications, the controlling and optimization of the parameters has to be done efficiently so as to attain the smooth operation of the industry. In this paper, the main control parameters of any process industries such as level of feed water, steam temperature and flow of steam were optimized by using ANFIS with PID controller. An ANFIS system is an adaptive network in which each node perform a particular function with respect to the incoming signals, with parameters are updated according to the given training data and a gradient-descent learning procedure. The simulation is done in MATLAB software. By using Neuro-fuzzy controller with PID, the transient response was improved and the settling time was reduced
