TEXT-INDEPENDENT SPEAKER RECOGNITION USING COMBINED LPC AND MFC COEFFICIENTS

Abstract: There are so many techniques for text- independent speaker recognition. However this text-independent speaker recognition is very difficult because the recognition is performed irrespective of what one he is saying. This paper presents a very simple approach to text independent recognition where the recognition is performed by using both LPC and MFC coefficients in parallel and the results of both methods are combined for best matching of the speaker. Here the ANN is used for classification.
