DIRECTION OF ARRIVAL ESTIMATION USING MUSIC ALGORITHM

Abstract: The performance of smart antenna greatly depends on the effectiveness of DOA estimation algorithm. This paper analyzed the performance of MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification) algorithm for DOA estimation. simulation results shows that MUSIC provide better angular resolution for increasing number of array element, distance between array element and number of samples. All the simulations are carried out using MATLAB.
