A SURVEY ON DATA SECURITY IN CLOUD COMPUTING: ISSUES AND MITIGATION TECHNIQUES

Abstract: Cloud is considered as the future of information technology. Cloud computing refers to internet based computing where virtual servers provide software, hardware, infrastructure, devices and platform. Users can make them utilized on a pay-as-you-use basis. Many organizations are stringent about the adoption of cloud computing due to their concern regarding the security of the stored data. Therefore, issues related to the security of data in the cloud have become very vital. In this paper, different data security issues have been discussed. Moreover, some already existing schemes for countering the problem of data security have also been discussed. Finally, a comparative study has been carried out among the schemes with respect to data security issues.
