FINGER-VEIN BASED BIOMETRIC SECURITY SYSTEM

Abstract: Finger vein recognition is a kind of biometric authentication system. This is one among many forms of biometrics used to recognize the individuals and to verify their identity. This paper presents a finger vein authentication system using template matching. Implementation using Matlab shows that the finger vein authentication system performs well for user identification.
