EDGE DETECTION BY USING LOOKUP TABLE

Abstract: Edge detection is a fundamental tool used in most image processing applications. We proposed a simple, fast and efficient technique to detect the edge for the identifying, locating sharp discontinuities in an image and boundary of an image. In this paper, we found that proposed method called LookUp Table performs well, which requires least computational time as compared to conventional Edge Detection techniques. And also in this paper we presented a comparative performance of various conventional Edge Detection Techniques
