PATH PLANNING USING VREP

Abstract: This paper presents an overview of path planning of a mobile robot using VREP [Virtual Robot Experimentation Platform] which is a powerful m3D simulator that create, compose, simulate any robot and is said to be a Swiss army knife among robot simulators. This allows for versatile prototyping applications including systems verification, safety/remote monitoring, rapid algorithm development, the robot model can be added by various entities and primitive shapes and sensors which include proximity sensor, vision sensor, and force sensor with different shapes.
